AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON
THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF KENSINGTON PLACE, SECTION 1, CHISHOLM VALLEY
WEST, SECTION 1, CHISHOLM VALLEY WEST, SECTION 2, AND CHISHOLM VALLEY,
SECTION 4, ALL SUBDIVISIONS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BELOW, BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC
HEARING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Sec. 1:
On the�f
�,,/ day of February, 1977, at o'clock p.m., in the
City Council Chambers of the City Hall of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council
will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear
and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of
the following described property, to -wit:
TRACT I:
BEING 23.86 acres of land out of and a part of the Asa Thomas Survey, Abstract
No. 609, in Williamson County, Texas, and being all that real property known
as Kensington Place, Section 1, according to the map or plat thereof recorded
in Vol. 11, Page 75, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and being more
particularly described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes.
TRACT II:
BEING 13.97 acres of land out of and a part of the Jacob M. Harrell League,
Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being all that real property
known as Chisholm Valley West, Section 1, according to the map or plat thereof
recorded in Vol. 11, Page 73, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and
being more particularly described on Exhibit "B" which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof for all purposes.
TRACT III:
BEING 14.45 acres of land out of and a part of the Jacob M. Harrell League,
Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being all that real property
known as Chisholm Valley West, Section 2, according to the map or plat thereof
recorded in Vol. 11, Page 77, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and being
more particularly described on Exhibit "C" which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof for all purposes.
TRACT IV:
BEING 16.37 acres of land out of and a part of the Jacob M. Harrell League,
Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being all that real property
known as Chisholm Valley, Section 4, according to the map or plat thereof
recorded in Vol. 11, Page 33, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and
being more particularly described on Exhibit "D" which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof for all purposes.
Sec. 2:
The Mayor of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby authorized and
directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a
newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock and in the above
described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days
prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal
Annexation Act, Art. 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes.

EXHIBIT "A"
BEING 23.86 acres of land out of and a part of the Asa Thomas Survey, Abstract
No. 609, In Williamson County, Texas, and being all that real property known
as Kensington Place, Section 1, according to the map or plat thereof recorded
in Vol. 11, Page 75, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas; said 23.86 acre
tract being more particularly described as being a portion of that certain 92.35
acre tract of land that was conveyed to Joe Anderson by deed of record in the
Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, said 23.86 acre tract being more
fully described by metes and bounds as follows;
BEGINNING at a steel pin found in the present south line of Gattis School Road,
at the northwest corner of said 92.35 acre tract for the northwest corner
of the 23.86 acre tract herein described, and from which point the northwest
corner of said Asa Thomas Survey bears S 71°-00'W approximately 1916 feet;
THENCE with the present south line of said Gattis School Road, same being the
north line of said 92.35 acre tract, the following three (3) courses;

3. N74° -01'E 358.67 feet to a steel pin found at the northeast corner of said

THENCE leaving said road and with the east line of this survey the following two

2. S 08°-30'w 462.86 feet to a steel pin set for the southeast corner of the
23.86 acre tract herein described;
THENCE with the south line of this survey the following six (6) courses;

Inc. by deed of record in Vol. 657, Page 263, of the Williamson County, Texas
Deed Records, said 13.97 acre tract being more fully described by metes and
bounds as follows;
BEGINNING at an iron pin set at the east corner of said 28.42 acre tract for
the east corner of the tract herein described, from which point the southeast
corner of said Harrell League bears the following two (2) courses; 1.) N20°-35'
