O-73-246 - 10/4/1973ORDINANCE NO. 246 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, REQUIRING PROPERTY OWNERS OF DWELLINGS LOCATED WITHIN 200 FEET OF A CITY SEWER LINE TO CON- NECT SUCH DWELLING TO SAID SEWER LINE AT HIS EXPENSE AND TO KEEP THE SAME CONNECTED AT ALL TIMES WITH THE CITY SEWER LINE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: The City Council finds that it is necessary and expedient for the promotion of health and the surpression of disease in the City of Round Rock that each property owner owning a house or dwelling occupied or capable of being occupied by human beings which are located within 200 feet of a city sewer line to connect such house or dwelling to said sewer line at his expense and to keep the same connected at all times. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that each property owner owning a lot or plot of ground in the City of Round Rock, Texas, on which there is located a house or dwelling occupied or capable of being occupied by human beings which lot or plot of ground is located within 200 feet of a city sewer line, is hereby required to connect such house or dwelling to said sewer line at his expense within ninety (90) days from the time sewer service is available. Each said property owner is further required to equip such house or dwelling with toilet facilities and keep the same connected at all times with the city sewer line so that the occupants of the house, or dwelling, shall at all times use the sewer facilities of the City. Each property owner shall have ninety (90) days from the effective date of this Ordinance to comply with the terms hereof.• READ, PASSED AND ADOPTED by unanimous vote, this the day of October, 1973.
