AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY
THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Sec. 1:
On the Qday of SEPT Er6tf'. , 1976, at 3D O'clock
p.m., in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall of Round Rock,
Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested
persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by
the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the following described property,
to -wit:
BEING a 103.51 acre tract of land out of the J. M. Harrell Survey,
Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being more particularly
described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof
for all purposes.
Sec. 2:
The mayor of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby authorized
and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published
once in a newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the
above-described territory not more than 20 days nor less than 10 days
prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the
Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the 58th Legislature,
Regular Session, 1963; compiled as 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes).

A description of a 103.51 acre tract of land out of the J. M. Harrell
Survey, Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being
a part of that certain 104.71 acre tract of land conveyed in a deed from
Grady O . Rodgers to Edwin J. Bomer, Jr . , said deed being of record
in Volume 464, Page 75, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at a found 1 Z" wood stake in a rock mound on the- low north
bank of Lake Creek for the northeast corner of the said E. J. Bomer,
tract from which stake a 26" tree stump bears N. 36' deg. 40 min.
E. a distance of 124.5 feet, the northeast corner hereof;
THENCE crossing the channel of Lake Creek S. 20 deg. 12 min. E. a
distance of 189.69 feet to al" steel pin found at the -base of a corner
fence post;
THENCE following the said fence as found and used upon the ground
and along the east line of the said E. J. Bomer, tract the following three
(3) calls:
(1) S . 20 deg. 02 min. E. a distance of 239.92 feet to a steel pin found;
(2) S. 20 deg. 04 min. 30 sec. E. a distance of 1303.63 feet to a steel pin found;
(3) S . 20 deg. 10 min. E. a distance of 961.58 feet to the point of intersection
with the northwest right of way (R .0 .W .) line of the I & GN Railroad 200
foot wide R .0 .W . , said point bears N. 20 deg. 10 min. West a distance of
10.10 feet from a steel pin found at the point of intersection of said fence
along the east line of E. J. Bomer tract with a fence line found along the
northwest margin of McNeil -Round Rock Road;
THENCE parallel to and a perpendicular distance of 100 feet northwest of
the center line of the aforementioned I & GN Railroad R .0 .W . S . 30 deg.

aforementioned E. J. Bomer tract;

of the aforementioned fence line along said east line of the Austin White
Lime Co. tract as found and used upon the ground;
THENCE with the average of said fence line along the east line of Austin
White Lime Co. tract as found and used upon the ground, the following

THENCE with the channel of Lake Creek the following six (6) calls:

(2) N. 56 deg. 31 min. E. a distance of 123.35 feet to a point;
(3) S. 68 deg. 10 min. 30 sec. E. a distance of 622.65 feet to a point at
the mouth of Rattan Creek and from which a found 16" Elm marked "X" bears
N. 77 deg. 10 min. W. a distance of 18.33 feet;
(4) N. 84 deg. 28 min. E. a distance of 200.39 feet to a point;
(5) N. 57 deg. 14 min. E. a distance of 355.00 feet to a found 60d nail
in a Rock Mound;
(6) N. 13 deg. 44 min. E. a distance of 68.26 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
and containing 103.51 acres, more or less.
