AN ORDINANCE RESCINDING CURRENT PLUMBING PERMIT FEES;
PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW PLUMBING PERMIT
FEES; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECT OF THIS ORDINANCE ON OTHER ORDINANCES OR
RESOLUTIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock, Texas, has adopted by ordinance
the Standard Plumbing Code; and
WHEREAS, the schedule set forth in the Standard Plumbing Code
for Plumbing Permit Fees is insufficient to meet current inspection
and administration costs; and
WHEREAS, the Standard Plumbing Code requires issuance of permits,
inspection of work at various stages of completion, and maintenance of
inspection records:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1:
The following formula for Plumbing Permit Fees is hereby adopted
and established as follows:
$ per plumbing fixture as that term is defined in the
Standard Plumbing Code.
Section 2:
All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict
herewith are expressly repealed.
Section 3:
Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine
of not more than Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($200.00). Each trans-
action in violation of any of the provisions hereof shall be deemed a
separate offense and as a separate offense shall be deemed committed on
each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
Section 4:
The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall
not invalidate other sections or provisions hereof.

Section 5:
Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to affect any suit or
proceeding now pending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability
incurred, nor any cause or causes of action accrued or existing under
any act or ordinance repealed hereby, nor shall any right or remedy of
any character be lost, impaired, or affected by this ordinance.
