O-75-261 - 6/17/1975ORDINANCE NO. 261 AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH THE PLAN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS TO SPEND THOSE FUNDS ALLOCATED TO THE CITY THROUGH GENERAL REVENUE SHARING PAYMENT, ACCOUNT NO. 44-2-246-006 IN THE SUM OF $34,613.00 FOR THE SIXTH ENTITLEMENT PERIOD, JULY 1, 1975 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1976, PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE IN THE EVENT OF THE INVALIDITY OF ANY PART OF THIS ORDINANCE;; PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ARE REPEALED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock, Texas, has received notice that it shall receive a General Revenue Sharing Payment in the sum of $34,613.00 from the Office of Revenue Sharing for the Sixth Entitlement Period, July 1, 1975 through June 30, 1976, said City having been given Account No. 44-2-246-006 by the Office of Revenue Sharing; and, WHEREAS, the Office of Revenue Sharing requires that a report of the planned use of the Revenue Sharing payment must be sent to them by June 24, 1975; and, WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable and necessary to adopt an Ordinance describing the plan for spending the General Revenue Sharing Payment; therefore, the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, plans to spend said $34, 613. 00 for the purposes and in amounts set forth on the attached document marked Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto, incorporated herein and made a part hereof for all purposes. If any Section, Sub -Section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held invalid, such decision Or decisions shall not effect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. All Ordinances, Resolutions or Orders heretofore enacted, passed and adopted by the governing body of the City of Round Rock, Texas, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
