of the town of Round Rock,Texas, acting under the provisions
of an ordinance providin for the construction,etc.,of
sidewalks in said town,oassed and approved on the

BE IT OnDAINED by the City Council of the town of t,ound Hock,
Tekas;-
That it is uer._by oraered by the City Council of tae town of hound
Rock, Texas, acting under the provisions of an ordinance providing for
the construction, etc, of sidewalks in said town, passed and Approved
on the 8th day Of may, 1917 that sidewalks be constructed on .both sides
of Ueorgetown Atenue, between mays street and Sheppard street; that is
along the Borth line of Block No. 9 in thetown of Round Rock and along
the South line of Block No. 22 of said torn, according to the map or
plat of said town recorded in Vol. 20, page 226 of the feed Records of
Williamson County, Texas.
That all said sidewalks shall be constructed so as to conform to the
grade established by the _treet commissioner and shall be of class one (1)
as provided in said ordinance, to -wit: ro be cement sidewalks. To be fill
ed within five inches of established grade and then to be well rammed and
packed, and then use sand, gravel and Portland cement in the following
proportion: One part cement; three parts clean, sharp gritted sand, and
four parts clean gravel; sand and cement to be mixed in dry state, then
gravel added with sufficient water to admit of eing thoroughly worked
up together and well rammed, the reaming to take place before the cement
begins to stt and not too much water to be used in the manipulation, but
sufficient water to be used to cause water to rise to the surface when t
thoroughly rammed this mixture to be four inches in thickness; then the
top to be smoothed off with an inch thickness of clean, sharp gritted
sand, and cement in equal proportions, That said sidewalks
shall be 10 feet wide and ti -.ere shall be sufficient rise from curb
to drain all water off the sidewalk and all drains from the premises
shall be thru sewer pipes laid under the surface of the sidewalks; that
said sidewalks shall in all particulars be constructed according to
the Sidewalk ordinance, above referred to.
