This road closure would allow the annual Frontier Days parade
to be conducted on Saturday, July 3, 2004. Frontier Days is a
celebration of Williamson County and our country's history
and is scheduled for July 3-4 this year. Included in this
celebration is the annual Fourth of July Fireworks at Old
Settlers Park. The festival opens with the parade that is the
subject of this proposed road closure. Participants can join
the festivities, salute a soldier, wave a flag, and watch
downtown Round Rock transform into a flashback from the
early 1900's as horses, cowboys, and cowgirls walk down
historic Main Street.
