R-07-05-24-11A1 WHEREAS, the RM 620 corridor between North SH 45 and IH 35 is a gateway to many of Round Rock' s important destinations - Round Rock Medical Center, Round Rock High School, downtown Round Rock and businesses along the commuter route to IH 35, and WHEREAS, increased traffic and resultant congestion has made the RM 620 corridor a safety concern, particularly the access to healthcare facilities, and WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has conducted a public meeting regarding a proposed study of possible improvements to the RM 620 corridor, and WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock supports TxDOT' s efforts to perform the RM 620 corridor and environmental studies, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the City of Round Rock supports and encourages the Texas Department of Transportation to perform the RM 620 corridor and environmental studies to resolve the safety and congestion problems.
