R-05-09-22-14G2 WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock and the City of Pflugerville wish to establish extraterritorial jurisdiction ("ETJ") property boundaries between the two municipalities, and WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock wishes to enter into an Agreement Regarding Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Boundary between the City of Round Rock, Texas and the City of Pflugerville, Texas to establish said EJT boundaries, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City said Agreement, a copy of same being attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all purposes. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended. I. That the City of Round Rock hereby agrees that all of the real property lying generally north and east of the Beginning Point and the End Point of the boundary line as shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes, shall belong within the extraterritorial jurisdiction ("ETJ") of the City of Pflugerville. By so doing, the City of Round Rock hereby relinquishes all extraterritorial jurisdictional rights to the City of Pflugerville which it has or may hereinafter acquire in said property. II. That the City of Pflugerville hereby agrees to accept such above-described real property into its extraterritorial jurisdiction either now or at some time in the future. III. That the City of Pflugerville hereby agrees that all of the real property lying generally south and west of the Beginning Point and the End Point of the boundary line as shown on Exhibit "A" shall belong within the ETJ of the City of Round Rock. By so doing, the City of Pflugerville hereby agrees to relinquish all extraterritorial jurisdictional rights to the City of Round Rock which it has or may hereinafter acquire in said property. IV.
