Food Supplied by Benny's Bagels. Porta Potties supplied by Waste Management Staging provided by Texas Baptist Children's Home Currently there are 42 volunteers assisting this effort not including corporate groups. This event will require the closing of La Frontera Blvd from Sundance Parkway to Hester's Crossing, closing of Kouri from Hester's Crossing to Sundance Parkway and closing of Sundance Parkway from La Frontera Blvd to Kouri. We are planning the use of 3 barricades and 200 cones. All activities will take place in the field bordered by these streets. There will be two tents for registration/packet pick up and for food. Joe McDermott will perform on a stage from Texas Baptist Children's Home. Joe McDermott provides his own sound equipment but does require power (110 watt plug in). The END will provide a live remote, offer "background" music and help with announcing run heats. EVERY child receives a finisher prize. This is a Run not a race and we are awarding every child's effort, not their time. We will not announce "winners" or times. Times will be available from Run Tex at the conclusion of the heat if a child would like to know their finishing time. As our sponsors have generously underwritten the cost for this event, we hope to purchase 200 new coats for distribution on Saturday, November 3rd. 1 r♦r r ri 111 \\I 1 .p♦ •,♦♦ .. rrrlr■■■ ami%:. . . . .
